TALTRAN Growth – Media Release

TALTRAN’S Growth Brings New Responsibilities, New Offices and New Jobs

Boutique financial recruitment and consultancy services TALTRAN Global is entering fall with new staff responsibilities, larger offices and a new business development role. The developments are driven by accelerating growth in clients and a rapidly increasingly network of high-quality financial candidates looking for opportunities.

Karla Cruz will take primary responsibility for candidate sourcing and services. Her career in TALTRAN has built on her recent experience as an accounting manager for one of California’s premier school meal providers. She exemplifies TALTRAN Global’s commitment to building a team of recruiters and consultants who have genuine, long-term experience working in accounting and finance departments.

Karla moved into the world of finance after completing her Masters – Finance from the joint program between the A B Freeman School of Business, Tulane University and the Universidad Francisco Marrequin. She holds a BSc Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the Sawyer Business School, Suffolk University. Karla has also held senior roles as Assistant CEO – Proyectos Turisticos Maya and as Vice Consul – Consulate General of Guatemala.

Commenting on Karla’s responsibilities TALTRAN President John P. Cassidy commented: “It’s been an exciting year for the business. We moved into larger offices in Pasadena to cope with our growth and Karla has proved to be a terrific asset to our business. I’m delighted to have her focusing on the candidate side of our business where she has already proved a great success. High-quality candidates considering new roles really enjoy talking to someone who knows what it takes to operate in a senior finance role.”

The business is also looking for a business development expert to focus on the US market where TALTRAN specializes in recruiting mid to senior level finance and accounting talent. The role holder will build relationships and generate new business backed by the company’s track record of finding and recruiting candidates for ambitious and demanding clients.

Cassidy added: “Having taken the lead in new business development during TALTRAN’s start-up phase I want to be able to devote more time to client engagement and building the consultancy side of our activity. Appointing a specialist head of business development will take us into a new phase of growth as we deliver on our promise to bring new perspectives and better processes to financial consultancy and the financial recruitment industry.”
