TALTRAN GLOBAL MAKES NEW APPOINTMENT TO SUPPORT GROWTH

Thoughts for a Thursday – August 2021

– Month end comment and insight on recruitment issues from John Cassidy, Co-Founder and President, TALTRAN Global –

Post-pandemic business activity is accelerating and financial recruitment specialists TALTRAN Global are building capacity to serve unprecedented levels of client demand.  The latest appointment is Nikko Sanchez who joins as a Research Consultant to provide project support to both the delivery and client success teams.  Nikko joins the business as it is structures to optimize the work of a team that is growing but continues to operate predominantly remotely.

President and Co-Founder John Cassidy explained, “Our recruitment teams deliver exceptional results because they have years of expertise working in senior financial roles.  This appointment provides back-up that will ensure they are able to focus on meeting the needs of our progressive, ambitious clients.  The competition for the top financial talent has never been fiercer but TALTRAN Global has already completed more appointments this year than in 2020.”

Recruitment demands have been transformed by the pandemic as companies race to appoint professionals with the ability to align technology with traditional financial operations.  TALTRAN Global has been focusing on this intersection in knowledge and capability since it was founded and has established a strong network of high-quality candidates.  Sourcing individuals with the technical and personal skills to make an immediate impact as the economy revives is driving the company’s growth.

Nikko joins TALTRAN Global from a role managing franchise contracts, database support and cross department projects for Qdoba Restaurant Corporation.  His previous role saw him as Manager, Facilities and Administration for global higher education business INTO North America, where he oversaw annual budgeting, facilities management, and new employee onboarding.  He brings additional bilingual support to TALTRAN Global’s business and is a graduate in Spanish and Education from Oregon State University.

“I saw Nikko’s commitment and organizational capabilities at close hand during my time as Finance Director at INTO North America,” commented Cassidy. “He has outstanding attention to detail, enormous energy and a belief in providing service as a business partner.  He exemplifies TALTRAN’s core values by offering thoughtful, trusted and deliverable solutions to both colleagues and clients.”

TALTRAN Global’s proprietary search methodology is also creating new opportunities for growth and the business has recently worked with a business affiliate to recruit paralegal and inhouse talent acquisition candidates.  “When clients see our capability in finding financial candidates for hard to fill jobs they often ask us to consider other professional roles.  Our response has been to build a small, select roster of affiliates with specialist knowledge in key service areas such as legal, human resources and marketing.  Our search and selection techniques align with their sector knowledge to offer a uniquely powerful platform for sourcing top talent.”
